Why I offer walking sessions to my clients?

When possible, I like to go for walking sessions with my clients. Walking sessions are a great way to maximise an hour of their time and support them with their health goals.

There are multiple benefits to an outdoor walking session - it’s challenging underfoot, it raises your heart rate, you’re exposed to natural light, you are surrounded by nature, it’s away from unwanted distraction, it allows for a more relaxed conversation.

Being outside and moving in natural light can contribute towards better physical & mental wellbeing. These walks can improve digestive health, aid sleep, lower stress & anxiety, support weight management, strengthen cardiovascular and immune health, help with blood sugar control…I mean the list could go on!

I live in Brighton & Hove and am fortunate to be surrounded by incredible countryside which allows me to get some of this good stuff almost daily. Admittedly, it’s not always sunny but walks in the rain are pretty nice too.

My clients are often surprised at how close-by and easy it is to fit in a walk like this. Many are put off because they don’t own a dog or feel unsafe waking alone which I do understand. Going together for our sessions helps them to learn routes and feel confident to go it alone or with a buddy at other times. I don’t take my dog for walk and talk sessions unless the client wants me to. I offer a pick and drop off service if that’s needed to make it possible.

Helping my clients to maximise their eating and living habits to support a health goal is what I do. Outdoor walks are one example.

I specialise in digestive and hormonal health.
