This is me making and enjoying a cup of lemon, ginger and honey tea. I’ve had one almost every day since I managed to naturally overcome my last urinary tract infection over 7 years ago! Yes, that is a lot of lemons! 🍋


Lemons are rich in Vitamin C, an essential nutrient that supports immune function and helps fight infections and illness. Including Vitamin C rich foods into your drinks and meals may help you to overcome infections more easily or even prevent them from developing.


Ginger and honey also contain immune supporting nutrients, making this drink a winner of you are looking to support your immune health.


Tip: for a more intense flavour and potency, grate the ginger instead of slice and give the lemon a good squeeze into the cup.



I don’t always add honey but when I do I chose raw honey for its more potent health benefits.
